Every Sunday during the games and at other events we try to make our Backer experience exciting, memorable, and fun.

City/Suburb of the Week: “A people without the knowledge of their past history, origin, and culture is like a tree without roots.”  - Marcus Garvey.

As in the above quote, most of our members obviously have a past history, origin, and culture aligned with the Cleveland / Northeast Ohio area and its many wonderful cities, villages and suburbs. To that end, each week during the game, we select a city or suburb from the greater Cleveland / Northeast Ohio area as our “Suburb of the Week” and honor that respective city by proclamation to the mayor and city council. It’s always exciting to hear back from the mayors and council members.

Since our inception, we have nominated over 200 Suburbs. Show up on game days and help nominate your favorite suburb.
